The Moyer Program has successfully funded a broad range of project types in Tehama County, including off-road equipment, heavy-duty vehicles, and infrastructure. Projects funded through the Moyer Program reduce emissions of criteria pollutants, including oxides of nitrogen (NOx) and reactive organic gases (ROG), which contribute to ozone formation, as well as toxic particulate matter (PM).
Programs such as Carl Moyer and FARMER are essential to meeting and maintaining federal air quality standards and achieving meaningful reductions in air pollution.
We are accepting applications until October 31st.
If you have older equipment that you are interested in replacing, or if you are considering installing new infrastructure to support zero-emission technologies, please contact our office or submit an application.
