Community Air Monitoring

About air monitoring

The Tehama County Air Pollution Control District operates air quality monitoring stations throughout the county. The goal of this air monitoring program is to improve our understanding of air quality issues impacting our local communities.

The monitors currently operating in Tehama County take measurements of PM2.5, PM10, and Ozone. For more information regarding Ozone and PM2.5 and PM10 please visit these links: Ozone Pollution and PM Pollution.

Currently we have monitors set up in Corning, Manton, Mineral, Rancho Tehama,
and Red Bluff, with more coming in the future.

The goal of our monitoring program is to enhance our understanding of localized air quality issues through the use of rapidly deploy-able monitoring equipment.
